My opinion about Religion (Catholic)
I studied in a catholic school. We played every day and even had to go to masses. Even so the catholic religion it is not something important to me or present in my life.
I think maybe I feel angry for the amount of crimes that encompass the Catholic Church. To understand it I will mention two materials (close to what most of us study).
A few years ago I saw the movie "Spotlight" it is about how the investigative unit of the newspaper The Boston Globe called "spotlight" unmasked a global scandal in which the Catholic Church in Massachusetts concealed a significant number of sexual abuse perpetrated by different priests. In 2015 this movie won the Oscar for best movie. It is really really good.
And also the book "Karadima, el señor de los infiernos" by the journalist Maria Olivia Monckeberg that portrays the physical and psychological
abuse that many people have suffered in the last four decades within the Chilean Catholic Church.
Thank you for
reading :).

These cases are horrible, and I don't think they are coincidences and isolated cases, as some people like to say.
ResponderEliminarSpotlight is a great movie and every time I see it I get tears because the message is very strong and It hurts the sensibility of any person.
